We will look at how stigma, disparities, and adultism can create barriers for young people seeking support, specifically around substance use. Youth peer support specialists will gain tools to challenge these barriers, reduce stigma, and build more inclusive, youth-driven spaces for recovery.

You’ll Learn How To:

• Understand how stigma and adultism impact youth.

• Identify barriers to care and equity.

• Use practical strategies to reduce stigma and promote empowerment in recovery spaces.
